Job summary

Midsouth Aggregates, part of CRH's South Division, is hiring an Entry-Level Utility Operator in Camak, GA. The role involves maintaining and operating conveyor, screening and crushing equipment, and operating a front-end loader to load aggregate materials.

You may fill in at several operations as workload demands, following supervisor instructions and safety standards. Duties include inspecting parts, cleaning vehicles, loading trucks, and recording car numbers.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with on-the-job training

Responsibilities

• Examines parts for damage or excessive wear
• Cleaning material from cars that are being returned
• Checking material being loaded for quality
• Retrieving and writing car numbers down accurately; shoveling and cleaning
• Load haul truck, load customer trucks, feed portable plant, stockpiling and load bins
• Operate haul truck and water truck
• Knowledge of mining equipment and their uses; knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications
• Perform work with safety as a priority; maintain attendance and positive attitude
• Follow supervisor instructions and work with minimal supervision when safe
