Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for a manufacturing site. You will operate mobile machinery such as rock drills, wheel loaders, bulldozers, haul trucks, and support equipment in outdoor, dusty environments.

This role requires working a two-shift schedule, including weekends, and adhering to Amrize PPE safety standards while coordinating with a team to maintain quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• 1 year of heavy equipment operating in a manufacturing environment.
• Must work outside, at heights, warm temperatures, and around water, in dusty environments and confined spaces.
• Operate on a two shift basis; weekends are required.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment required to mine rock (e.g., rock drills, wheel loaders, bulldozer, haul trucks and water trucks, motor grader, fuel tanker, hydraulic rock breaker).
• Perform mechanical maintenance check-outs, troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and do minor preventative maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Monitor and react to quality issues (e.g., sample drill holes, monitor quality feedback information & adjust mining pattern as necessary).
• Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in various team activities.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
