Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking operators for a mining rock equipment role with long-standing client in the building automation and industrial tech sector. Expect to operate a variety of heavy machinery, perform basic maintenance, monitor quality, and follow strict safety protocols.

Positions require outdoor work, weekend shifts, and ability to work near water and dusty environments. Team-based setting and health, safety, and environmental adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of heavy equipment operating in a manufacturing environment.
• Must work outside, at heights, warm temperatures, dusty environments and around water.
• Two-shift schedule; weekends required; ability to work in a team; adhere to safety protocols and properly use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment used to mine rock (rock drills, wheel loaders, bulldozer, haul trucks, water trucks, motor grader, fuel tanker, hydraulic rock breaker).
• Perform mechanical maintenance checks, troubleshoot breakdowns and do minor preventative maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Monitor and react to quality issues; document results and adjust mining patterns as necessary.
• Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in team activities.
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and environmental policies across work environments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of a heavy equipment operating in a manufacturing environment
• Required to work outside, at heights, warm temperatures, and at times around and over water, in dusty environments and confined spaces.
• Must operate on a two shift basis and incumbents will predominantly work these two shifts, weekends are required.
• Ability to work in a team based environment.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE").
