Job summary

CRH APAC Mississippi, Inc. is seeking a Quarry Plant Operator to perform a variety of laboring tasks at the plant, including lubricating, shoveling, sweeping, and maintenance work under the foreman's instruction.

Responsibilities include maintaining crushers and washers, equipment operation, and communicating production issues. Must be able to work varied shifts, endure strict physical demands, and be willing to travel or work nights/weekends as necessary.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing ability.
• Able to understand simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aggregate crusher, washer, and surrounding area for safe, efficient operation.
• Shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, tire work, mechanical assistance; lifting and pulling.
• Communicate production issues to supervisor or lead person.
• Ability to work strenuous conditions in varying weather; travel and work away from home when required.
• Willing to work nights/weekends; report to start time; overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
