Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to detect safety hazards and respond accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Shovel muck, stone, gravel, sand from around conveyors.
• Assist mechanics in procuring and moving parts, material, and equipment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the leadman or supervisor.

Skills

Ability to perform emergency rescue

General knowledge of safety regulations

Basic mathematical skills

Ability to read, write, and speak English

Education

Equivalent to thirty days of training or experience
