Job summary

CRH APAC Mississippi, Inc. seeks a Quarry Plant Groundsman to support operation of crushers and washers, perform labor tasks, and assist heavy equipment operators. The role requires readiness to train and move into operator positions.

You will work various shifts, endure outdoor conditions, and travel as needed. The team emphasizes safety, reliability, and timely communication with supervisors. CRH offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required with 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and memos.
• Basic math: add/subtract/multiply/divide.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain crushers and washers and surrounding area for safe operation.
• Shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, tire work, mechanical assistance.
• Communicate production issues to supervisor.
• Work in varying weather conditions; travel may be required.
• Work nights and weekends when required.
• Report to start times; overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
