Job summary

APAC Central Inc. is seeking an Aggregate Superintendent to oversee quarry operations in the Oklahoma area. The role leads production teams, manages start-up and shutdowns, and drives safety, quality and efficiency across all plants.

You will coordinate blasting with contractors, manage schedules and timekeeping, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in stone production with strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid PA driver's

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in stone production and quality control.
• Supervisory experience is valued, but leadership potential is encouraged.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and basic math.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative teamwork.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems.
• Valid PA driver’s license; pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop quarry operations teams through supervision and scheduling.
• Oversee daily start-up, production and shutdown of plant operations.
• Direct maintenance activities and plan shutdowns for equipment reliability.
• Coordinate production resources to meet safety, quality and output goals.
• Collaborate with Area Manager and Operations Manager on status and improvements.
• Troubleshoot issues and address bottlenecks; manage timekeeping and schedules.
• Coordinate drilling and blasting with third-party contractors; ensure compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
