Job summary

Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, seeks a quarry operations professional to assist the Quarry Manager in supervising aggregate production. You will oversee safety, scheduling, and daily activities across multiple sites, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to MSHA procedures.

The role requires at least 5 years in stone production and supervisory experience, with strong computer skills and the ability to work at various locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior supervisory experience in a quarry environment.
• 5 years of experience in stone production and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quarry Manager with oversight, safety and direction of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Drive continuous improvement of safety, operational excellence and cost.
• Supervise scheduling, timekeeping, and assignment of duties.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations and special projects.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate day-to-day activities.
• Communicate with Quarry Manager on current conditions.
• Troubleshoot issues and problems that may occur.
• Coordinate drilling and blasting schedules and pit development operations.
• Ensure safety adherence at all sites; follow MSHA procedures.
• Demonstrate leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Maintain attendance and flexible work schedule.
• Travel and operate at other company facilities as needed.
