SRM Concrete is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead our quarry operations. You will drive daily activities, champion safety, regulatory compliance, and profitability while guiding a team of supervisors and operators toward operational excellence.

The role requires 5–7 years in quarry/mining management, strong leadership and cost-control capabilities, and a solid grasp of safety and environmental standards in the mining/quarry sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field with 5-7 years quarry/mining management experience.
• Strong leadership, safety, and environmental compliance knowledge.
• Proven track record improving safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarry operations with emphasis on safety, production goals, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Set objectives aligned with SRM’s mission; promote safety, performance and quality.
• Direct production, maintenance, quality, and logistics to meet goals cost-effectively.
• Develop proactive maintenance and equipment rejuvenation to minimize downtime.
• Implement cost-control strategies within budget while maintaining standards.
• Develop supervisors, technical staff and operators through training and progression.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and environmental regulations; foster safe workplace.
• Serve as primary contact for suppliers, regulatory agencies, and the local community.
