Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a proactive Production Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day operations at a quarry site. You will lead by example on health and safety, manage production activities, and support site personnel development to ensure safe, efficient and profitable operation.

You will collaborate with the Site Manager, customers, and logistics teams to maintain high standards of quality and service, while driving continuous improvement and cost control across the operation.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience within a quarry, aggregates, mining, manufacturing, heavy industry, construction materials, or processing environment.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Ability to organise workloads, prioritise activities, and make sound operational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and environmental leadership across the site.
• Support delivery of safe and efficient quarry operations and maintenance planning.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and deliver reliable customer service.
