Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I in Fredonia, KY to transport materials across the quarry and support production. You’ll operate haul trucks, loaders, dozers and other heavy equipment, following safety protocols and quality requirements.

This full-time hourly role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work shift schedules, including overtime. Training is provided, and you’ll join a team committed to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• Experience in quarry or heavy equipment preferred.
• Able to work in all weather and shift schedules.
• Self-motivated and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment per daily production needs (haul trucks, loaders, dozers, etc).
• Inspect equipment at start of each shift and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and promote safety practices.
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with quarry supervisor and team members.
• Assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
