Job summary

Amrize seeks a Mobile Equipment Operator II (Loader Operator) to move materials around the Louisiana quarry and support production with front end loaders and allied equipment.

You will inspect and operate machinery, comply with safety protocols, and work various shifts including overtime, collaborating with maintenance and quality teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Strong communication, reliability, and ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• Experience in varying weather elements and quarry environment preferred.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work and operate safe around equipment.
• Willingness to work shift, overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loaders (and other heavy equipment) per quarry needs.
• Inspect equipment at each shift and report issues.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and efficiency in the work area.
• Assist with material counts and quality control as required.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
