Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to oversee quarry operations and drive safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will lead daily activities, manage production, maintenance, quality, and logistics, and cultivate a high‑performance team.

With 5–7 years in quarry or mining management, you will implement cost controls, develop equipment maintenance programs, and serve as the primary liaison with suppliers, regulators, and the local community.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of quarry/mining management experience.
• Solid knowledge of quarry/mining operations including excavation, drilling, blasting, and processing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of guiding a diverse team.
• Extensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in mining/quarry.
• Proven cost control and process improvement experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and industry software systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage quarry operations with focus on safety, production goals, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Direct plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics to meet objectives efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Develop and maintain a proactive maintenance and equipment rejuvenation program to minimize downtime.
• Enforce cost control strategies within budget while maintaining high quality standards.
• Develop supervisors and operators through training, performance assessments, and career progression.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations; foster a safe working environment.
• Serve as the primary liaison with suppliers, regulatory agencies, and the local community.
