Heidelberg Materials is seeking a motivated Quarry Mining Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to aggregate mining operations, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic production environment.

You will gain practical experience in quarry planning, mine design, data analysis, and process improvements while supporting safety, environmental and regulatory initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Interest in mining, aggregates, heavy industrial operations, or construction materials.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound recommendations.
• Effective verbal and written communication with cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quarry planning, mine design, and production analysis activities.
• Support operational improvement projects focused on safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret production, equipment, and operations data.
• Participate in field inspections and collaborate with quarry personnel to identify optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to environmental, regulatory, and safety compliance initiatives across site operations.
