Job summary

P&K Stone, Llc is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Mill Creek Quarry in Oklahoma. You will develop detailed work plans aligned with maintenance strategies and mine requirements, and drive efficiency across the maintenance team.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, backlog management, and collaboration with Production and Plant Management. The position requires strong mechanical skills, troubleshooting ability, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties in a safe manner.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plant equipment.
• Must be able to identify parts for ordering (bearings, idlers, screens, pulleys)
• Previous Lead or Supervisory experience.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Proficiency with a wide variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Demonstrated proficiency with oxy/acetylene torch and stick welding, MIG a plus.
• Must be able to work 8-12 hour(+) shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work in outdoor environment and in elevated areas.

Responsibilities

• Be a safety leader and sponsor safety and environmental rules.
• Manage work backlogs for accuracy and resources.
• Maintain accurate maintenance forecast and adhere to strategies.
• Work with maintainers to build detailed work packages.
• Assist in commissioning and decommissioning of equipment.
• Ensure PM schedules are prioritized and resourced.
• Use backlog to select critical work orders.
• Develop and disseminate detailed plans for large repairs.
• Collaborate with site functions to develop procedures.
• Lead spare parts area and stocking decisions.
• Establish stock levels to ensure parts on site when needed.
• Operate with a 12:00 pm–10:00 pm schedule, Mon–Fri with some weekend shifts.
