Job summary

APAC Central Inc is seeking an experienced Aggregate Superintendent to oversee quarry operations across local plants in Oklahoma. You will lead production teams, supervise blasting coordination with third-party contractors, focus on safety, efficiency, and quality while managing schedules and maintenance.

The role requires at least 5 years in stone production and supervisory experience, strong communication, and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of stone production experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred; leadership potential considered.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; basic math skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop quarry operations teams through supervision, performance management and scheduling.
• Oversee daily start-up, production and shutdown of all plants, ensuring seamless day and night operations.
• Direct daily maintenance activities and manage planned shutdowns for equipment reliability.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production and resources to meet safety, quality, and output goals.
• Partner with Area Manager and Operations Manager to communicate status, resolve challenges, and implement improvements.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and address production bottlenecks.
• Manage employee schedules, time-off requests, and maintain accurate timekeeping records.
• Coordinate drilling and blasting activities with third-party contractors for productivity and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support quarry operations.
