Job summary

Tilcon New York Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking a Quarry Maintenance Mechanic on the West Nyack, NY site to perform safe maintenance and repair of quarry plant processing equipment. The role requires mechanical aptitude, welding skills, and the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

You will inspect, repair, and replace components, operate heavy machinery when required, and support other departments to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 3+ years of practical work experience.
• Advanced mechanical skills needed.
• Ability to read and follow instructions safely.
• Clear communication with coworkers and supervision.
• Ability to read English and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance to maximize plant productivity.
• Inspect workplace and maintain conveyor belts, gears, guards, bearings.
• Conduct cutting and welding to repair equipment and fit replacement parts.
• Ensure all guards and grease lines are in place after tasks.
• May operate heavy equipment and assist other departments as needed.
