Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking Quarry Laborers to operate plant equipment and support batch, crush, and sort processes for construction projects. The role emphasizes safe, reliable performance and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of related experience preferred; training offered.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor rock, sand, and gravel plant equipment to batch, crush, and sort materials for construction projects.
• Control machinery from the panelboard, ensuring smooth feeding, crushing, and sifting processes.
• Observe gauges and machinery to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Keep the worksite and plant clean, organized, and safe for all team members.
• Conduct routine plant maintenance and report major issues to supervisors for quick resolution.
• Assist in repairs using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed.
• Mentor and train newer team members to grow and succeed.
• Perform general labor duties and show up reliably on schedule.
