SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our quarry operations team. You will operate bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and other machinery to move materials safely and efficiently.

This on-site role requires adherence to safety standards and quality control in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include daily safety checks, coordinating with site management, and adjusting equipment to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in quarry or industrial settings.
• Valid certification for operating heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of production processes and safety standards.
• Ability to perform minor equipment repairs.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to priorities.
• High level of physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front-end loaders, excavators, and other quarry machinery safely and effectively.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Coordinate with site management to plan, move, and monitor materials while meeting safety standards and specs.
• Adjust equipment settings to meet project requirements.
• Identify maintenance needs and minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report hazards.
• Participate in ongoing safety training and adhere to policies.
• Work with the team to move materials efficiently and ensure timely project completion.
