SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our quarry operations team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating heavy equipment in fast-paced environments, with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards that support efficient excavation processes.

You will perform daily safety checks, coordinate with site management, adjust equipment settings as needed, and report maintenance requirements to minimize downtime while upholding SRM’s

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy machinery in quarry or industrial settings.
• Valid certification in operating heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment: bulldozers, front-end loaders, excavators and related quarry machinery.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Coordinate with site management to plan and monitor material movement while upholding safety standards.
• Adjust equipment settings to meet project requirements.
• Identify maintenance needs and report issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report hazards.
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety policies.
