SRM Concrete is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our quarry operations in Alabama. You will safely operate bulldozers, loaders, excavators and other quarry machinery, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate material movement with site management to meet project specifications.

The ideal candidate has proven experience and certification in operating heavy machinery, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment.
• Valid certification in operating heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• High level of physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers, loaders, excavators and quarry machinery safely.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Coordinate with site management to plan and monitor material movement.
• Adjust equipment settings to meet project requirements.
• Identify maintenance needs and communicate repairs or replacements.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment; report safety incidents.
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety policies.
• Work with the team to move materials efficiently and ensure on-time project completion.
