SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a skilled Haul Truck Operator for its Quarry Operations team. You will safely operate haul trucks and related heavy equipment within the pit, perform pre-use checks, and collaborate with crew to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in quarry or mining operations.
• Valid operator's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to move materials within the quarry.
• Perform daily pre-operational checks and routine maintenance to ensure equipment safety and readiness.
• Identify and report repairs to supervisors to maintain performance and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and transport requirements.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE, participate in safety meetings and training.
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness, comply with environmental regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including operating other heavy machinery or supporting general labor tasks.
