Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, preferably within a quarry.
• Valid certification in operating heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and distribution techniques.
• In-depth understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• High level of physical fitness.
• Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front-end loaders, excavators, and other quarry machinery safely and effectively.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks to ensure machinery is in top condition.
• Coordinate with site management to plan, execute, and monitor material movement within the quarry.
• Adjust equipment settings and controls to meet project requirements.
• Identify maintenance needs and communicate repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and report safety incidents or hazards.
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Work with the team to ensure materials are moved efficiently and projects stay on schedule.
