Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a loader operator to work in a team environment on pit and mining sites. You will operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, report problems to management, and help maintain a safe work area for yourself and co-workers.

Qualifications

• Two to five years' experience in loader operations preferred.
• Experience with pit/mining equipment is a plus.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on pits/mining sites.
• Report equipment issues to the foreman promptly.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers.
• Follow foreman directions and comply with OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Perform routine servicing and basic maintenance; escalate major problems.
• Complete daily pre-and-post inspections with proper documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced workers in equipment operation and maintenance.
• Perform general labor duties as needed.
