Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc. is hiring a Quarry Haul Truck Driver / Groundman (Construction) to join a safety‑driven team in a heavy equipment environment.

The role emphasizes safe operation of heavy machinery, adherence to OSHA/MSHA procedures, and collaborative work with foremen and coworkers on mining/pit projects. The ideal candidate will have prior loader operations experience and a willingness to travel, work nights/weekends, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Two to Five years of loader operations experience preferred.
• Previous related experience in the construction field.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment used in pit and mining operations.
• Follow Foreman directions and daily tasks for each project.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance and report major problems.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees.
• Perform general labor duties as required.

Education

Two to Five years experience in loader operations preferred
