Job summary

Rock Pros USA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Loader Operator for the Upper Bell quarry in Arizona. The role involves safe operation of a front-end loader within an active surface mining and rock crushing environment, with on-site general quarry duties as needed.

Operators are part of the crew and may assist with plant work, inspections, and safety procedures, ensuring efficient material flow and adherence to MSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a front-end loader or heavy equipment preferred.
• Mining/quarry/rock crushing or similar heavy industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate safely around personnel and other equipment.
• Ability to perform equipment inspections and report issues.
• Strong safety awareness and dependable attendance.
• Willingness to perform general labor when not operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile material.
• Support crusher and plant production by maintaining an efficient flow of material.
• Perform required pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
• Monitor equipment condition and report mechanical or safety concerns.
• Follow established haul routes, procedures, and supervisor direction.
• Work safely around haul trucks, loaders, crushers, conveyors, and other mobile equipment.
• Follow MSHA regulations and site safety procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors, haul truck drivers, and plant personnel.
• Assist with cleanup, plant maintenance, screen changes, crusher cleanup, shoveling, and other general quarry duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
