Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Quarry Foreperson to lead daily operations at one of our production sites in Arkansas. This role emphasizes safety, productivity, and team leadership in a fast-paced quarry environment.

You will coordinate plant production, repairs, and service with the site Superintendent, supervise personnel, and drive safety and quality in daily activities. Flexibility for nights/weekends and OSHA/MSHA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to schedule and coordinate production with customers' needs.
• Solid understanding of materials, methods, and tools in plant production and maintenance.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safe work environment and adhere to OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Oversee daily production and maintenance and schedule major repairs to minimize downtime.
• Identify and report issues to the Superintendent/Managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead, manage, and schedule personnel; monitor attendance and hours.
• Train employees in plant and equipment operations and servicing.
• Step in for general laboring duties as needed.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance and set team standards.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
