Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quarry Technician at the Holly Hill Cement Plant in South Carolina. You will perform mining and reclaiming tasks, operate heavy equipment, and participate in safety programs to protect workers and the environment.

Applicants should have 1–5 years of heavy mobile equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and a strong commitment to health, safety, and PPE usage. The role requires rotating shifts and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years heavy mobile equipment experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate or train on large dozers, trackhoes, haul trucks and loaders.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of PPE.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks associated with the mining and reclaiming of raw materials in the Quarry process area.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-training activities.
• Interpret readings on instrumentation panels and ensure product quality and quantity within assigned area.
