Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Equipment Operator for quarry operations. You will support production and maintenance under the supervision of quarry supervisors, performing tasks safely and efficiently.

Role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, ability to work all shifts outdoors in varying weather, and operating equipment such as haul trucks up to 90 tons, graders, dozers and loaders. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience required
• Welding experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION
• Ensures a safe work environment for self and others at all times
• Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist as needed to improve EHS
• Ensure all work areas and equipment are clean, tidy and organized at all times
• Trains and coaches other employees when needed
• Operates various equipment including haul trucks up to 90 ton, graders, dozers and loaders
