Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Quarry Operator to assist in production and maintenance in our North America operations. You will support safe and efficient quarry processes, operate various heavy equipment, and help train other staff as needed.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years in mechanical maintenance, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. The role requires outdoor work in all weather and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, diesel technology or related field preferred.
• 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience required; welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production functions and maintenance.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety policies.
• Operate and train with heavy equipment and machinery.
• Support safety initiatives and housekeeping at the facility.
• Communicate effectively with staff and follow shift schedules.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
