The role involves operating backhoes, skid steers, excavators, and loaders, with opportunities to advance into drilling and blasting responsibilities. The position offers safety-focused work, overtime and potential travel, with a compensation range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour plus a $150 weekly travel allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment is preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with own transportation.
• Safety minded with ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Mechanical aptitude around equipment, motors, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance for safe, efficient operation of equipment.
• Learn drill patterns and execute as established by the Blaster Foreman.
• Inventory accessories and understand costs; coordinate with the Blaster/Foreman.
• Complete drill reports, hole sheets, and timecards accurately.
