Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc in Allentown, PA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Driller Trainee (Construction). You will operate backhoes, skid steers, excavators, and loaders while learning drilling and blasting under supervision.

Qualifications

• Equipment operating experience is helpful.
• Valid Driver's License with own transportation.
• Experience as construction laborer.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Background screening for ATF.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance for safe, efficient operation of equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Learn drill patterns and execute patterns as directed by Foreman.
• Inventory accessories and cost implications.
• Report problems and terrain conditions to Blaster/Foreman.
• Submit drill reports, hole sheets, and timecards.
• Carry all tools and supplies.
