Job summary

Bluefors Cryocooler Technologies, Inc. seeks a Technical Sales Manager to lead relationships with academic and research customers in quantum technology, promoting cutting-edge cryogenic solutions used by leading universities.

You will translate complex scientific needs into technical proposals, run product demonstrations, and collaborate with Sales and Engineering to drive opportunities and win new business.

Qualifications

• MSc in applied or technical physics, or strong relevant experience in quantum computing or related field.
• Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably involving scientific instrumentation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical information clearly.
• Willingness to travel and manage multiple customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions aligned with research, technical, and business needs.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences while articulating the value of Bluefors solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer discussions, providing timely responses to inquiries.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with academic and research customers, identifying challenges and opportunities.
• Serve as liaison between Sales and Engineering, sharing customer feedback and market insights for product development.
• Assist with preparation of technical proposals, customer documentation, and reports.
