Job summary

IC Resources is partnering with a leading quantum computing company to recruit a Quantum Software Engineer. You will work with the QEC and hardware teams to develop features for QEC, and to develop and maintain a DSL for pulse-level programs, integrating into quantum computer builds.

The role requires significant software engineering experience, strong Python and modern C++, and familiarity with quantum computing concepts; a STEM degree is required with Masters/PhD strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant software engineering experience.
• Proficient with Python (semantics, type hints, CPython).
• Solid experience with Modern C++.
• Experience with Static Single Assignment and IR-based compilers.
• Experience with quantum computing and/or quantum error correction preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM; Masters or PhD highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop features for Quantum Error Correction (QEC) and collaborate with the hardware team.
• Develop and maintain a DSL for pulse-level programs and integrate into quantum computer builds.
