Job summary

PsiQuantum is seeking a Staff Applications, Test & Failure Analysis Engineer to bridge the Electronics team and the System Engineering team, solving PCBA issues, performing failure analysis, and implementing corrective actions in design and test. The role collaborates with thermal, mechanical, firmware, RTL and optical engineers.

This position requires a Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent and ~7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
• 7 years of relevant experience in applications, test and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with the Quantum Computer electrical and system designs.
• Answer internal customer inquiries.
• Trouble-shoot customer problems, participating in cross-functional teams as needed.
• Perform failure analysis on customer returns and internal yield loss.
• Implement corrective action in test and designs as needed.
• Participate in design and test coverage reviews.

Education

Master's or Ph.D. Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
