Job summary

PsiQuantum is hiring a Staff Applications, Test & Failure Analysis Engineer in Milpitas, CA. The role acts as a bridge between the Electronics team and the System Engineering team to resolve PCBA issues, perform failure analysis, and implement corrective action in design and test.

You will collaborate with thermal, mechanical, firmware, RTL, and optical engineers. Join a cross-functional team building quantum systems.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
• 7 years of relevant experience in applications, test and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with the Quantum Computer electrical and system designs.
• Answer internal customer inquiries.
• Troubleshoot customer problems, participating in cross-functional teams as needed.
• Perform failure analysis on customer returns and internal yield loss.
• Implement corrective action in test and designs as needed.
• Participate in design and test coverage reviews.
