Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a full‑time Assistant Staff to contribute to research and development in quantum networking and free‑space optical communications. The role focuses on integrating and testing on‑demand entangled photon sources, single‑photon detectors, and related subsystems in both lab and field testbeds.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics with experience or coursework in nonlinear optics and/or quantum mechanics.

  • Support integration and testing of quantum networking and free‑space optical communications technologies in laboratory and field testbeds.
  • Interact with other staff to contribute to research and development activities in optical and quantum communication systems.
