Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree required in Optical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with laser systems, free-space optics, and fiber optics.
• Background in optoelectronics and WDM techniques for telecom applications.
• Familiarity with LiDAR principles, time-of-flight measurements, and single-photon detection.
• Experience with optical metrology and GR&R studies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop optical setups for LiDAR experiments and vibrometry.
• Test and optimize single-photon sensitive vibrometer and communications systems.
• Experimentally validate optical components and subsystems.
• Support research on optical fault detection via vibrometry.
• Develop recording techniques for entangled photons in secure communication.
• Conduct GR&R testing to ensure measurement reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and firmware teams to improve system performance.
