Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
• Minimum five years' experience supporting an experimental research laboratory or similarly complex environment.
• Experience with procurement, vendor communication, order tracking, inventory management, and financial documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, purchasing, and inventory management for the lab.
• Monitor expenditures, budgets, grant deadlines, and sponsor administration.
• Coordinate lab safety, facilities, and repair/installation of equipment.
• Onboard and coordinate new group members and researchers; support group culture.
• Serve as operations liaison among the Endres Lab, collaborators, vendors, and Caltech offices.
