Job summary

The Associate Director of NYU Quantum Institute will serve as the operational backbone, ensuring the seamless execution of high-level academic and industry-facing initiatives. Manage all facets of the Institute, planning programming and events, coordinating international visitors, overseeing research engagements, and acting as the primary contact for industry partners, budgets, and partnerships.

Work with the Director to develop funded initiatives and fellowships, assisting in grant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years relevant administrative or project management experience, including managing budgets and events.
• Experience in working with faculty and distinguished scholars to develop projects and events.
• Experience in higher education, research universities, startups, or scientific organizations preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong professional writing skills for proposals, reports and industry-facing correspondence.
• Proficiency with modern scheduling tools, project management software and virtual meeting platforms.
