Job summary

HRL Laboratories is seeking a creative and motivated device modeling engineer to join a world-class team developing next-generation technologies. You will push the frontier of quantum control and transport in semiconductor devices, using commercial and proprietary simulation tools to model FinFETs, gate-all-around transistors, and other nano-devices.

You will collaborate with fabrication and test efforts to interpret data, validate models, and drive design iterations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with semiconductor theory and computational modeling.
• Strong collaboration and ability to present technical results.

Responsibilities

• Model state-of-the-art electronic technologies (FinFETs, gate-all-around).
• Use TCAD and multiphysics tools to simulate devices and nanodevices.
• Interpret experimental data and work with fabrication/test teams.
• Develop and apply semiclassical/quantum transport techniques.

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related discipline
