Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY is seeking a hands-on Quantum Development Technician to collaborate with Quantum Integration, process, and manufacturing teams on advancing development lots across spin qubit, superconducting, trapped ion, photonic, and topological modalities.

You will execute development lots, track wafer movement, coordinate experiments, prepare samples, collect data, maintain lab organization, and support safety and documentation in a fast-paced environment driving cutting-edge

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, Physical Sciences, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of semiconductor manufacturing, development, laboratory, or technical operations experience.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute quantum development lots.
• Track wafer movement and lot status.
• Coordinate experiment logistics with engineering teams.
• Prepare samples for characterization and analysis.
• Assist with data collection, documentation, and metrology.
• Maintain laboratory organization and inventories.
• Interface with Fab Operations, Metrology, and Process Engineering.
• Support safety, environmental, health and contamination control.
