Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer based in the United States to advance quantum-resistant security in enterprise environments.

You will research PQC algorithms, design migration plans from traditional cryptography, implement cryptographic components, and contribute to crypto-agile architectures across PKI, identity, cloud, and network systems, working with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in quantum computing and cryptography.
  • Strong knowledge of quantum mechanics, algorithms (Shor, Grover), and information theory.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, and Java for cryptographic implementations.
  • Experience with PQC standards and migration planning.
  • Ability to communicate complex risks to non-technical leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and evaluate quantum-resistant cryptographic solutions.
  • Assess enterprise systems to identify quantum-related risks.
  • Develop migration strategies toward post-quantum standards.
  • Prototype, test, and integrate cryptographic components into enterprise apps.
  • Produce documentation, architecture guidance, and roadmaps.
