Infleqtion, Inc. is seeking researchers to design, build, and operate neutral-atom quantum computing systems and related subsystems in a lab setting. This role emphasizes hands-on experimentation with AMO physics and quantum hardware, including lasers and control systems.

Applicants should have a PhD in atomic/optical/AMO/quantum physics or equivalent experience, and be proficient in Python for automation, data analysis, and experiment control. Collaboration across engineering teams is essential.

Formación

• PhD in atomic, optical, AMO, quantum physics, or 4+ years of comparable experience.
• Hands-on experience running experiments involving atomic/optical/quantum systems.
• Proficiency in Python for experiment control and data analysis.
• Experience with laser systems and related hardware (RF, optics).
• Ability to design and analyze physics experiments and models.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, calibrate, operate, and improve neutral-atom quantum computing systems and subsystems.
• Execute R&D projects involving quantum processor hardware, gate protocols, lasers, calibration, and control.
• Translate technical goals into experimental plans, requirements, and targets.
• Design and analyze experiments and physics-based models to understand system behavior.
• Independently execute well-defined technical work from planning through validation.
• Develop Python-based tools for experiment control, data analysis, calibration, automation, and hardware integration.
• Own assigned subsystems through testing, maintenance, and documentation.
• Collaborate with physics, software, electrical, mechanical, and systems-engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and interns.
