Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL has a permanent Quantity Surveyor role based in Wiltshire. The role focuses on pricing and commercial reporting across a varied portfolio of facilities and project works, with emphasis on value for money.

You will support commercial negotiations, manage risk and provide guidance to teams, delivering full project lifecycle coverage from scoping to change control.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience within construction, property maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of pricing frameworks, cost control and financial analysis.
• A Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent practical commercial experience.
• Experience managing commercial risk, variations and change control.

Job description

An experienced Quantity Surveyor is required to provide commercial support across a varied portfolio of facilities and project works in Wiltshire. You'll take responsibility for pricing, cost control and commercial reporting, working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners.

This role covers the full project lifecycle, from scoping and pricing works through to change control, risk management and dispute resolution, with a strong focus on value for money and commercial performance.

The Role

As the Quantity Surveyor, you'll:

• Scope and price works, ensuring value for money and commercial accuracy.
• Manage cost modelling, financial analysis and commercial reporting.
• Maintain commercial control throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Manage commercial risks, change control and project cost variations.
• Work closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners.

About You

To be successful as the Quantity Surveyor, you'll have:

• Commercial experience within construction, property maintenance or facilities management.

• Experience managing commercial risk, variations and change control.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Previous experience within secure or government environments would be advantageous.
