Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building solutions, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to drive the commercial delivery of projects from award to final account. You will guide contracts, manage variations and protect profitability while coordinating with Sales and Projects teams.

You will monitor budgets, prepare final accounts, and escalate risks, contributing to customer satisfaction and long-term growth within a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with ability to manage risk.
• Experience within Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full commercial lifecycle of projects from award through to completion.
• Administer contracts in line with company policies and procedures.
• Lead variation management and maximise project value.
• Prepare, submit and agree final accounts for positive outcomes.
• Identify and substantiate entitlement opportunities.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Escalate commercial risks and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes.
