Job summary

ERSG Ltd is seeking a Freelance Quantity Surveyor for a major infrastructure upgrade. Hybrid role with travel and accommodation covered if required; NEC3/NEC4 experience essential and background in major infrastructure or regulated sectors.

You will manage commercial aspects, cost control and subcontractor accounts across a high-profile project, communicating with stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts (ECC preferred).
• Background in major infrastructure, civil engineering or regulated sectors.
• Strong cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting.

• Commercial management of allocated projects and work packages.
• Cost planning, forecasting, reporting and cost control.
• Administration and management of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Subcontractor account management, valuations and final accounts.
• Support procurement and supply chain management.

Quantity Surveyor – Major Infrastructure

Location: Hybrid / 2 days a week travel and accommodation covered if required

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support a major infrastructure upgrade. The project is being delivered within a highly regulated and involves significant civil engineering, building, M&E and infrastructure works supporting a major UK project. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC experience and a background in major infrastructure or other regulated sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial management of allocated projects and work packages.
• Cost planning, forecasting, reporting and cost control.
• Administration and management of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Subcontractor account management, valuations and final accounts.
• Support procurement and supply chain management.
• Strong NEC3/NEC4 experience, ideally ECC.
• Quantity Surveying experience within major infrastructure, construction or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, forecasting, change control and commercial reporting.
• Experience managing subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
