DRW is seeking a Quantitative Trading Analyst Intern to join a 10-week program in Chicago. You will work on the trading desk alongside senior traders and researchers to develop strategies, perform market research and apply machine learning to tick data, with mentorship and a final presentation to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in mathematics, economics, physics, statistics, computer science or any engineering related field with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Advanced quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to perform under time pressure.
• Proficient programming in Python.
• Self-motivated, enjoy challenges and take on significant responsibility in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
• Passion for financial markets and curiosity to explore new methodologies.
• Strong communication skills to articulate ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior traders, technologists and quantitative researchers by developing and improving trading strategies on the trading desk.
• Identify and research market projects using analytic tools.
• Apply macroeconomic data curation, analysis and machine learning techniques to market tick data for automated trading.
• Take on responsibilities such as position tracking and risk analysis.
