DRW is seeking a Quantitative Trading Analyst Intern to join a dynamic team in Chicago. You will work on trading, research and risk management projects, gaining hands-on experience and presenting results to senior leadership after 10 weeks.

You will collaborate with traders and technologists, deploying quantitative methods and ML on market data, while enjoying organized social events and housing support in Chicago, Greenwich & New York.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in math, econ, physics, stats, CS or eng field with graduation 2027–2028.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills under time pressure.
• Proficient Python programming.
• Self-motivated with ability to handle responsibility in fast-paced environments.
• Passion for financial markets and curiosity to explore new methods.
• Strong communication to present ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior traders and researchers to develop trading strategies on the desk.
• Research market data using analytic tools and methods.
• Apply ML techniques to market tick data for automated trading.
• Handle responsibilities like position tracking and risk analysis.
