HealthBay is seeking a Quantitative Researcher to join a dynamic, onsite contract team in the Baltimore area. You will work closely with a Principal Research Consultant to design, implement, and analyze quantitative studies, building state-of-the-art models and delivering actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in statistics, math, economics, finance, CS or related field.
• Proven experience conducting quantitative research and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency with R, Python, MATLAB, SAS or similar software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and analyze quantitative research projects with the Principal Research Consultant.
• Develop and apply advanced statistical models to complex datasets.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and optimize processes.
• Conduct statistical tests and backtests of research ideas.
• Present findings to stakeholders in clear formats.
• Ensure data integrity through cleaning and validation.
• Stay updated on industry practices and emerging methodologies.
• Document methodologies and project progress clearly.
• Contribute to research publications and presentations.
